Welcome to Vision for Life Institute
The Vision for Life Institute is dedicated to helping adults of all ages address their sight and manage their eye health. Whether you are living with cataracts, glaucoma, or other vision concerns, we are here to help.
Once a detailed evaluation has been completed, our ophthalmologists will outline appropriate management and potential treatment pathways based on clinical observations and personal needs.
Eye Care and Vision Treatment Options
Laser eye surgery
A range of refractive surgery procedures are available for most patients, including LASIK, PRK, and SMILE, delivered with contemporary surgical technology.
Glaucoma surgery
A variety of minimally invasive glaucoma surgery options are available, aimed at lowering intraocular pressure and protecting the optic nerve.
Cataract surgery
During cataract surgery, the clouded natural lens is removed using controlled micro-incision methods and replaced with a transparent artificial lens.
Additional Eye Treatments
ICL surgery
During Implantable Collamer Lens (ICL) surgery, a lens is positioned inside the eye to support clearer focusing.
Refractive lens exchange
During this procedure, the natural lens is replaced with an artificial lens to assist with vision changes associated with ageing.
Eye injections
Eye injections are used to deliver medication directly into the eye when treating retinal conditions.
Pterygium surgery
During pterygium surgery, the tissue growth on the surface of the eye is removed to support clearer vision.
Retina surgery
Retina surgery is used to manage disorders affecting the back of the eye, including macular conditions.
Corneal cross-linking
Corneal cross-linking is designed to reinforce the cornea and assist in slowing keratoconus progression.
Corneal transplant surgery
Corneal transplant surgery involves replacing damaged corneal tissue with donor tissue in an effort to support clearer vision.
Eyelid surgery
Eyelid surgery aims to correct structural eyelid conditions that may affect eye protection or vision.
Strabismus surgery
During strabismus surgery, the eye muscles are repositioned to support better eye alignment.
