Welcome to Vision for Life Institute
Vision for Life Institute aims to assist adults of all ages in caring for their vision and maintaining healthy eyes. Whether you are dealing with cataracts, glaucoma, or other eye conditions, our team offers support and guidance.
After a comprehensive assessment, our ophthalmologists will discuss potential suitable treatment pathways informed by clinical findings and your individual circumstances.
Eye Care and Treatment Pathways
Laser eye surgery
Many patients may be able to choose between refractive surgery options, including LASIK, PRK, and SMILE. All procedures are performed using contemporary technology.
Glaucoma surgery
Several minimally invasive glaucoma surgery procedures are available to potentially help reduce intraocular pressure and support protection of the optic nerve.
Cataract surgery
Cataract surgery involves removing the clouded natural lens using controlled micro-incision techniques and replacing it with a clear artificial lens.
Additional Eye Treatments
ICL surgery
Implantable Collamer Lens (ICL) surgery places a lens inside the eye in an effort to help improve focusing.
Refractive lens exchange
This procedure involves replacing the eye’s natural lens with an artificial lens to help address age-related vision changes.
Eye injections
This treatment involves injecting medication into the eye for the management of retinal conditions.
Pterygium surgery
Pterygium surgery removes the growth of tissue on the eye surface that may affect vision.
Retina surgery
Retina surgery involves procedures that help manage disorders affecting the back portion of the eye, such as macular conditions.
Corneal cross-linking
Corneal cross-linking is designed to reinforce the cornea and assist in slowing keratoconus progression.
Corneal transplant surgery
Corneal transplant surgery replaces damaged corneal tissue with donor tissue in an effort to help improve corneal clarity.
Eyelid surgery
Eyelid surgery focuses on managing structural eyelid conditions that may impact eye protection or vision.
Strabismus surgery
Strabismus surgery involves adjusting the eye muscles to potentially help improve alignment between the eyes.
