Welcome to Vision for Life Institute
The Vision for Life Institute supports adults of all ages in managing their vision and ongoing eye health. If you are experiencing cataracts, glaucoma, or other concerns affecting your sight, our team is here to assist.
Once a detailed evaluation has been completed, our ophthalmologists will outline appropriate management and potential treatment pathways based on clinical observations and personal needs.
Eye Care Services and Treatment Options
Laser eye surgery
Refractive surgery options such as LASIK, PRK, and SMILE are available for most patients and carried out using advanced ophthalmic technology.
Glaucoma surgery
Minimally invasive glaucoma surgery options may be considered to assist in lowering intraocular pressure and helping safeguard the optic nerve.
Cataract surgery
Cataract surgery removes the eye’s clouded natural lens through small, carefully controlled incisions and replaces it with a clear intraocular lens.
Additional Eye Treatments
ICL surgery
Implantable Collamer Lens (ICL) surgery places a lens inside the eye in an effort to help improve focusing.
Refractive lens exchange
This procedure involves replacing the eye’s natural lens with an artificial lens to help address age-related vision changes.
Eye injections
Eye injections are used to deliver medication directly into the eye when treating retinal conditions.
Pterygium surgery
Pterygium surgery involves removing tissue growth from the surface of the eye that may interfere with vision.
Retina surgery
Retina surgery involves procedures that help manage disorders affecting the back portion of the eye, such as macular conditions.
Corneal cross-linking
Corneal cross-linking aims to strengthen the cornea to help slow the progression of keratoconus.
Corneal transplant surgery
During corneal transplant surgery, affected corneal tissue is replaced with donor tissue in an effort to restore corneal clarity.
Eyelid surgery
Eyelid surgery is performed to address structural eyelid conditions that may influence eye protection or vision.
Strabismus surgery
Strabismus surgery aims to adjust the eye muscles to improve eye alignment.
