Welcome to Vision for Life Institute
At Vision for Life Institute, we are committed to supporting adults in managing their vision and caring for their eye health at every stage of life. From cataracts and glaucoma to other vision-related concerns, we provide guidance and support.
Once a detailed evaluation has been completed, our ophthalmologists will outline appropriate management and potential treatment pathways based on clinical observations and personal needs.
Eye Care Services and Treatment Options
Laser eye surgery
Many patients may be able to choose between refractive surgery options, including LASIK, PRK, and SMILE. All procedures are performed using contemporary technology.
Glaucoma surgery
Several minimally invasive glaucoma surgery procedures are available to potentially help reduce intraocular pressure and support protection of the optic nerve.
Cataract surgery
Cataract surgery involves the removal of the clouded natural lens through precise micro-incision techniques, followed by the placement of a clear artificial lens.
Additional Eye Treatments
ICL surgery
Implantable Collamer Lens (ICL) surgery places a lens inside the eye in an effort to help improve focusing.
Refractive lens exchange
During this procedure, the natural lens is replaced with an artificial lens to assist with vision changes associated with ageing.
Eye injections
This treatment involves injecting medication into the eye for the management of retinal conditions.
Pterygium surgery
Pterygium surgery involves removing tissue growth from the surface of the eye that may interfere with vision.
Retina surgery
This procedure is used to address disorders that affect the retina at the back of the eye, including macular conditions.
Corneal cross-linking
This procedure aims to strengthen the cornea with the goal of slowing the progression of keratoconus.
Corneal transplant surgery
Corneal transplant surgery involves replacing damaged corneal tissue with donor tissue in an effort to support clearer vision.
Eyelid surgery
Eyelid surgery is performed to address structural eyelid conditions that may influence eye protection or vision.
Strabismus surgery
Strabismus surgery involves adjusting the eye muscles to potentially help improve alignment between the eyes.

We provide assessment and management for a broad range of eye conditions using modern medical and surgical approaches.
