Welcome to Vision for Life Institute
The Vision for Life Institute is dedicated to helping adults of all ages address their sight and manage their eye health. Whether you are living with cataracts, glaucoma, or other vision concerns, we are here to help.
Once a detailed evaluation has been completed, our ophthalmologists will outline appropriate management and potential treatment pathways based on clinical observations and personal needs.
Eye Care and Treatment Options
Laser eye surgery
Many patients may be able to choose between refractive surgery options, including LASIK, PRK, and SMILE. All procedures are performed using contemporary technology.
Glaucoma surgery
A range of minimally invasive glaucoma surgery approaches are available, with the goal of lowering intraocular pressure and supporting optic nerve health.
Cataract surgery
Cataract surgery removes the eye’s clouded natural lens through small, carefully controlled incisions and replaces it with a clear intraocular lens.
Additional Eye Treatments
ICL surgery
Implantable Collamer Lens (ICL) surgery places a specialised lens inside the eye to help support visual focusing.
Refractive lens exchange
The procedure replaces the eye’s natural lens with a clear artificial lens to help manage vision changes that may occur with age.
Eye injections
Eye injections deliver medication into the eye for retinal conditions.
Pterygium surgery
Pterygium surgery involves removing tissue growth from the surface of the eye that may interfere with vision.
Retina surgery
This procedure is used to address disorders that affect the retina at the back of the eye, including macular conditions.
Corneal cross-linking
Corneal cross-linking is designed to strengthen corneal tissue and may help slow the progression of keratoconus.
Corneal transplant surgery
This procedure replaces damaged corneal tissue with donor corneal tissue to potentially assist in improving corneal transparency.
Eyelid surgery
Eyelid surgery aims to correct structural eyelid conditions that may affect eye protection or vision.
Strabismus surgery
Strabismus surgery involves adjusting the eye muscles to potentially help improve alignment between the eyes.
